For nearly five years, the Skara Brae Chimera has struggled to keep up with its role as a community paper. As many of our loyal readers may have noticed, however, it has already been over a year since the last issue was published. The situations surrounding us have changed, and I no longer have time to work as an editor. Rather than leaving an empty page here, I believe it would be more appropriate to officially announce the cessation of publication. Thank you very much for your patronage for the past years.

The archive of the past news and stories published in the Chimera as well as the Community's official scrolls have been moved to a new location, while this place will be left untouched as long as our host permits. These scrolls are preserved in memory of the oldest generation of the Community of Skara Brae, as well as in the hope that the past records of our Community may be used as resources by new generations to enhance the Community. As long as the original source is refered to, there is no restriction on the use of these resources.

May we all stir with the Spoon of Skara Brae.
